Tach-it-up

Draw-Tite, a part of the Cequent Manufacturing family, recently came out with a new  Class III Trailer Hitch for the 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 Jeep Compass.  This hitch will NOT fit the Rallye Edition models. 

Just one more of their "top-of-the-line" yet affordable towing products, it is designed to fit into a 2” Hitch Receiver.  This classic Class III Hitch can easily be installed in about 15 minutes - and you won't have to do any drilling to get it done!  The package comes with the hitch and all of the mounting hardware.  You will need to furnish your own ball, mount, clip, and pin.

This great hitch can support a gross towing weight of 3,500 pounds, with a tongue weight capacity of 350 pounds.  If you're just getting started back there, you might consider adding a custom Hitch Cover back there to keep the inside of your hitch receiver protected, so things don't get all gunked up and rusty when you’re not pulling anything.  All that will do is make it a whole lot harder to slide the hitch into it when the time comes.  Plus they look cool!!!

This Class III Hitch will be able to support virtually all standard weight towing demands - which can include pulling your boat or camping trailer. You can also easily pull your motorcycle, snowmobile, jet-ski, 4 wheeler, light watercraft, pop-up camper, or maybe a U-Haul trailer! Furthermore, they work quite well for small business uses, like transporting yard work equipment and other types of maintenance gear.
